Image resize

  • Hey all!

    I’m trying to reduce the size of an image in my post. When I add the image from the media library, resize to thumbnail, it resizes in the visual but when I preview, the image remains full size but the quality of a thumbnail. I’ve tried with different image formats, sizes, etc…

    What does the image look like in the published post? I sometimes find previews to be less than 100% reliable. I recommend doing a test publish before getting too involved in resolving appearance issues in previews. If the visual view and final post look OK, I don’t think it’s worth worrying about the preview appearance.

    If you want to do so anyway, use your browser’s CSS inspector tool to check the applied CSS. The proper rule setting the size is likely not being applied as expected.
