image resize and edit po-up not appearing when plugin activated

There isn’t any code in Photonic that switches the left and right clicks. However, when various plugins interact with the gallery feature of the visual editor, there are sometimes some conflicts that show up. That being said, I haven’t had anyone report a conflict in the visual editor for the past 2-3 years.

Without information about your plugin setup, I cannot guess which plugins might be causing conflicts. But, if this is a deal-breaker for you, you can disable Photonic’s scripts in the Visual Editor (Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Disable shortcode editing in Visual Editor). If you are using the Photonic Wizard to edit Photonic galleries, you can switch to the “Text Editor”, select the shortcode, then click on “Add / Edit Photonic Gallery”.

I have tried a fresh install – with the standard Twenty themes. Only installed Photonic and Classic Editor. It still happens here in Chrome and Edge (Windows). Firefox, however, works. If i disable Photonic it works in all browsers. Something must be conflicting, but there are no console errors.

I have a custom theme but that doesn’t use JS at all. I took an existing post that has a photo. When I click on the photo, the standard icons show up, and I am able to pretty much click on any icon and do what I need to do. I don’t use a custom shortcode, and while I don’t generally use the Visual Editor, I specifically switched to the Visual Editor to test this scenario.
