Image Resizing not working

    Since upgrading to WordPress 4.0.1 I am not able to resize images after uploading them into my media library. I click on “add media”, choose image, then when it is inserted click on the pencil to “edit” the image. Under image details I try to “custom size.” The image looks in the editor as if it has been resized, but does not get resized when I view the post.
