• Hello,
Apologies – I know this has been mentioned before on the forum and I am a beginner so bear with me.

On uploading portrait images to wp media library they then rotate to the right. When edited to sit the right way they seem to save as that but then are not saved in all forms like that. Some images despite being edited and sitting the right way in the menu, when placed in a post appear rotated the wrong way and this can’t be altered. Some images are the wrong way in the menu but then fine in the post! This last image appears rotated in the post when viewed from an iPhone.

Looking at the other threads on here, I understand that this is probably because of the device that took the original image and how it’s been interpreted by the computer and then the server on upload and this is also an iPhone issue. A lot of people on here recommend the Image Rotator Fixer plug and say that it’s worked for them but then I have downloaded it and it’s made no difference.

    Can anyone help?

I use Bluehost and a Pipdig template (Pipdig refers to wp for these image issues).
