I have images of 500×300. When I insert that image in the slide show manager, I select Full Sized 500×300, alignment: none and link to: none. But when I look at the link in the slider, it says 150×150. The image is terrible. I tried deleting the slider and starting over without luck.
Plus the slide show does not crop the box to fit the image. It shows the thumbnail off to the corner – leaving a blurred image to fill the box.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Dear @ thehammer610.

Thank You for posting your question. Please can you give us the link for checking the slider on your page? You have our support forum link.

    Thank You.

I took down the slide show, because it looked so terrible. I wish I could send you screen shots so you can see what I did on loading the pictures.
I have now tried to create another slide show. I uploaded 5 photos which were originally 500×300. They all loaded with ‘Full Size 500×300’ selected. A photo, when checked in the list, is listed as https://orcalcoast.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/1-150×150.jpg.
When the slider is started, the 150×150 thumbnail is stretched and blurred into the larger slider.
Here is my test page. Please let me know when you have viewed it so I can take it off of my site.
    https://orcalcoast.com/index.php/slider-page/

So my 500 x 300 picture is not uploaded, even though I select ‘Full Size 500×300’. Plus the display is not automatically changed to the 150×150, like it should be.

    Dear @thehammer610.

I have checked your page which you published here. You have put there wrong image size.

    It is now https://orcalcoast.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/1-150×150.jpg size.
    But there must be https://orcalcoast.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/1.jpg.

Please don’t edit the image and just set size from admin menu. Edit all images and after changing sizes save them. Or in right top corner you must see the soucre for that image delete from that source “-150×150” part manually.

    Thank You.

    “Please don’t edit the image”
That is exactly the issue. I have not edited the photos at all. I just dragged them into the WordPress Media Library as they were, 500×300. I then went into the Photo Slider dashboard. I selected ‘Add Image’ and was put into the WordPress Media Library. I selected my image and Full Size, 500×300. But when the image was brought into the Photo Slider, they were imported into as thumbnails.

Please take a moment and look at the sample page I posted. I included screen shots of exactly what I did.

I have even tried to edit the URL in the Photo Slider dashboard to https://orcalcoast.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/1.jpg, but it will not let me. Photo Slider insists on using the thumbnail, even when I select full size in the WordPress Media Library.

    Dear @thehammer610.

I understood you that you have added to media library then you are trying to make slider. I understood that you uploaded image with 500×300 size. But please when you are adding the image into the slider make sure that you added correct size of the image into the slider. You can also check it from the link which you have on uploading window for image. At the end of the link you have -150×150 part. Just remove it.

    Hope You understood me.

    Thank You.

“But please when you are adding the image into the slider make sure that you added correct size of the image into the slider.”

    I selected “Full Size 500×300”.

    https://orcalcoast.com/index.php/slider-page/

Please scroll down to look at the screen shots of what I did and tell me what I did incorrectly.

As you can see from the screen shot, I selected full size 500×300. Yet the link that is inserted into the Photo Slider is the link to the thumbnail. Perhaps I am doing something stupid. But if I am, I an unable to figure out what, since I selected the full sized, not the thumbnail.

Please tell me how to keep that from happening. If not, how to edit the link so I can link it to the full sized image. Or better yet, allow me to load the image directly from my hard drive to the Photo Slider plugin.

    What I am doing wrong?

Can provide me with a link to version 1.3.0? I do not see it at WordPress.

You can find it on our WordPress page, when you will click on “Advanced View” there at the bottom of the page you can select what version you need to download.

    Thank You.

I’m having the exact same issue.
When i upload images through their “add image” button, it automatically resizes them down to 150x150px, I triple checked the URL , it’s definitely the plugin resizing the images on “save” / “update”

I figured out the trick, unselect “full size” and select “large”, it’s not exactly what i wanted but it’s something with it having an issue when admin “full size” is selected.

I know “large” maybe not an option for you as I am using larger images, but it’s how I worked around it. maybe you can select “medium” ?

    Dear @fadeliss.

Thank You for your response. Please when you are going to upload images select the size other one except full size, then select again full size. It will help you to solve your problem. Our team is trying to find a way to solve it. But I said you the way to make it manually. On our next version that problem will be solved.

    Thank You.

I wish I had known that. When I could not find the link to 1.3.0, I gave up on the product.

Best of luck to you. I hope you solve the bug.

Our team tried to solve the problem from the code. If you will update the plugin you will see the result. But if anyone have the same problem we said how to solve the problem manually. Sorry we didn’t know the way how to solve it manually when you wrote us about it. After testing many times we found the way and said it here.

    Thank You.
