Image size problems

I recently changed my blog theme to Fourteenpress. Images uploaded during the previous theme are now resized to be extremely small. I would like to have all my images show to as wide as possible.
On the previous theme, i would resize my images to 900px wide before uploading.
I’m using WordPress 4.5 and Fourteenpress Version: 0.4
