    Hi
I created a slideshow with iimages of 300px height while the slider is 40px and placed it as header in the storefront theme of my website. However the slideshow is very large ?

Would appreciate knowing how to correct this so that I get a nice sized header slide show

Looking forward to a swift response

    Regards

  • Hi,

Your slider images are too big. There should be something causing this. To fix this, please try the following:

    – Deactivate any caching and lazy loading plugins, reupload the images to the slider, and check if this fixes the issue.
    – Activate the Twenty Twenty One theme and deactivate all the plugins except for MetaSldier and check if this fixes the issue.

    Hi @mohammedeisa
    Thanks for your swift response
    I did as suggested

All plugs are deactivated and Theme is currently set to Twenty Twenty-One (latest Update) Still same issue. These image are all between 250px to 300pixels and the height iff the slideshow is defined as 400px

Would appreciate your help with other suggestions

    Regards

    Hi,

I checked your slider again and found that the issue is with your images. As you said, they are between 250px to 300pixels width and the slider a full-width slider. So, the images stretch to the full width as well.

Can you please disable the 100% width option in the slider advanced settings and see how the slider looks?

Alternatively, you could use images with larger widths.

You may also try using the “Smart crop” option in the “Image Crop” in the advanced settings section.
