Image Sizes for Parallax Widget

You can use image of whatever size you want to display.

On the theme demo site here https://colorlib.com/shapely/ the background images are of size 2800 X 1900 so that they will display full width on all screen sizes.

I just purchased an image this size and it looks terrible on mobile. What am I missing here? Do I need a plugin? I hope we can fix this glitch that seems to be an issue with a lot of users, especially because we are spending money on images to fit this size.
