Image Sizes in a post

  • Hello there!

    First, thank you Modern Themes for this simplistic, yet beautiful theme. I love it!

    Now the problem i am facing is a little peculiar and i have gone through all the forums to see if there is a solution.

    When i write a new post, i set my featured image and publish. The setting is such that the image links directly to the post from the home page.

    However on the home page, the image stretches. EG in the post https://ketanpandit.com/gullivers-tavern/ the image uploaded is actually smaller than what is displayed. The stretching of the image is causing the image to get blurred.

    I tried to regenerate the thumbnails also, but it did not help.

    I am considering an upgrade. So if you could please help me, it would make my decision all the more easier. Thank you.

    Hello,

    The theme does stretch this image to be full-width but you can override this with some custom CSS:

    img.archive-image { width: auto !important; }

    So now, if i want to give each image a different size, how do i do that?

    Say, i want to show expansive mountains, and i want to show a delicate plate of cheese.
