    Hi there,

I really love this plugin – it’s so far the best gallery plugin I’ve found for WP ??
I’m just having some trouble with image sizes – I know this isn’t actually a problem with your plugin, but rather the way that WordPress works. When I upload an image, the image itself saves as four different versions on my server – the original, large, medium, thumbnail, album cover. If a client uploads a very large image (say 3mb or 2000px x 2000px) then it takes up a lot of space on my server.

I’ve just installed a plugin that takes care of that problem: Imsanity, and it works when I upload my large images via WordPress’s default media uploader (it does not save the original large file to my server), but it does not work when I upload my images through your plugin’s Uploader.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but do you have any suggestions as to a workaround for this? I really love your plugin and want to continue using it, just large file sizes on my server is my issue.

    Thank you,
    Kate

    Hello katebrookhart,

As the gallery works with attached images, you can use the standard wordpress uploader on the same gallery edit page, and uploaded images will appear in the block under the custom uploader after gallery saving.

    Kind regards,
