Image sizes used by or created by Twenty Fifteen?

    What image sizes are actually used and/or created by the Twenty Fifteen theme?

    I am using the Classic Editor, does this make a difference?

    My reason for asking is that I want to reduce unnecessary disk space usage by stopping the creation of multiple thumbnail sizes upon image upload that will never actually be used by means of plugins like Stop Generating Unnecessary Thumbnails by Codexpert or Disable Media Sizes by Jeff Starr.

    Any known conflicts between these plugins and Twenty Fifteen?

    Hi @erskine4730,

    For Twenty Fifteen you can consider the following sizes for images.

    • Featured Images are 825?wide by?510?high
    • The content area (in which images can be shown) is?660 wide.

    I’m not aware of any conflicts between the theme and plugins like you mentioned – but the best way to know would be to make a backup of your site, and then check them out.
