Image Slide Captions linking to “/#”

    I have created a slideshow that is placed in the front page header of the linked website. Each of the 3 slides has a caption with a link to an internal page in the URL field. But, on rollover each caption shows “SUB.DOMAIN.TLD/#” instead of the address in the URL field, and when clicked returns to the homepage.

    What have I missed?

    WordPress – 5.7
    MetaSlider – Version 3.20.3, Slideshow Theme: Precognition
    Theme – custom twenty seventeen child theme

  • Hi,

    (EAT, DRINK, VISIT) are not captions, they are used for navigation.

    The captions are hidden on top of the page behind the gray header.

    I found that the theme adds styles to MetaSlider which hides the captions. can you please contact the theme author to check this issue?
