Hi, I’ve been trying to use the Image post slider block on a test page.

The problem I have is that the block seems to take forever to populate the images. I only have a display of 8 posts selected.

The first two or 3 posts display fine, but anything after this is usually left with a blank space, which will sometimes populate on the front end if left long enough.

    Any ideas please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Update
I shall post my findings as to what I think is occuring, just in case it helps others.

I use Siteground hosting and as a result, I have their own optimization plugin installed.

One feature of the plugin includes the ability to lazyload site images and I noticed that when activated, it has a direct effect on the slider causing only the first few images to load correctly.

Once lazyload is deactivated on a sitewide basis, the post slider block performs as it should.
Apologies for raising the issue in error.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this issue.
This is something that can be handled using AJAX loading in slider block. We may add this option in a future release. For now the best option would be to exclude the page from lazy loading (it’s usually possible in optimization plugin).

    Cheers,
