    Hi,

On the free version of Virtue can I have a Landscape image Slider at the top of a post?

I can see the option but I can’t see a way of adding additional images to the slider apart from what I set as the Feature Image. Is this possible or only in the paid for version?

See this link for an example: https://chaosandtravel.com/2015/02/what-what-what/

I’ve tried a number of things but can’t seem to get it working. I plan on getting the paid for version in about 6 months but for now I just want to check what I can do in this version.

  • Hey,
In the post you should see an option to add images for a slider. Should be a meta area called “slider images” with a “blue add/edit gallery” button.

If you don’t see that try clicking on the “screen options” in the top right corner and clicking the check box next to “slider images”

Thanks, I thought that should be the case, but I’ve double checked and for some reason its not there and it’s also not in the screen options section either?

    What would you suggest doing?

Should I download the theme again?

Ok, sounds like you don’t have the virtue toolkit install? You would have to have that for the metaboxes gallery option.

I managed to fix the problem, I think Id created a child theme in the wrong way. When I Edited the CSS.Style file in the wrong way.

I reinstalled that and it now all works perfectly well. Thanks.
