Image Slider Zoom At Full Width

  • Hi, I am struggling with adding a slider of featured images to my homepage. I want the slider to appear full-width, but when I toggle that option the images zoom in so far that they’re not worth having at all. If I have the full-width option switched off, they crop to the dimensions of the slider (which I was expecting) but basically look fine. I don’t understand why I can’t have them look like this (ie. scaled to fit within the slider as closely as possible) but full-width? Is there any way I can make this happen?

  • Hello, I have the same problem.
    Based on the documentation (https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/36-image-sizes-in-the-customizr-theme) I resized my images to the 1170x500px, but as manek was writing, I also would like to use the full-width slider and not the boxed one.
    So when I use the full-width slider, the image quality just gets really bad, especially on full-hd and retina and other HighRes displays.
    Can you please assist how can I have a proper, responsive, HighRes photo in the slider?
