    Image text is being truncated. When I try to update through Manage Galleries: Alt & Title Text, it will not save if I include links to pics or urls. But it will save properly if I omit the links.

    Half of my 73 images have text that has been chopped up. The other half is fine.

    Trying to see a pattern. it usually removes links to images, or other urls, but not always. Sometimes it removes a couple of sentences, sometimes over 5000 characters.
    Sometimes it throws in random characters e.g DZmv1YJnszw
    Sometimes everything has become italics

    WordPress is up to date
    NextGEN Version 2.1.23
    Hemingway theme
    Hosted by lunarpages
    Deactivated my plugins, except SlidePress.

    I saw a similar problem on another thread. Reverting to a previous version of NextGEN solved the users problem.

    @xaviernuez – Just for clarification, you are trying to add in some cases 5000(?!) characters to the image description under Gallery > Manage Galleries?

    Also, can you provide any specific (much shorter) examples of the text you are using that is being truncated?

    Yes, in some cases 7000 characters. The site was built 6 years ago – I have been using NextGEN from the start and never had a problem until now.
    Here’s a shorter example:

    THIS IS WHAT THE TEXT ORIGINALLY LOOKED LIKE:

    <font size=”-1″>The MacArthur Bridge, which was once part of historic Route 66, connects St Louis, MO to East St Louis, IL across the Mississippi River. The 100 year-old bridge towers over the industrial south side of St Louis and meanders through the run-down buildings in the area, where Alley 107 was shot – it is about a half mile from the river, while Alley 131 is the same bridge near the river. </font>

    THIS IS HOW IT WAS CHANGED:

    The MacArthur Bridge, which was”https://www.nuez.com/alley-stories-2/?pid=63″>Alley 131 is the same bridge near the river.
