Image Thumbnail in index page

  • Hello,
    I want to add one image on left side but I like to show only on home page ( index.php), when you click on to read full story image should not be shown.( Some thing like in news papers, a image with title of the post and littlebit teaser) Is it possible? Any plugin suggestion?
