    Hi,
we’ve changed our server since a few days and we haven’t see this before. So I’m not sure it’s our new provider or ML update problem.
    On ML admin:
    – some images inside a folder are not displayed (but I can see it throw FTP). I tried to uninstall, resync. same problem.
    – some images seems to be displayed in the wrong folder
    – some images thumbnails are not displayed but if I click on it t set description, alt… it works.

On blog, that’s strange too, some image are displayed and some not.
    any idea ?
    Thanks,
    Vincent

Normally after changing a server or moving a site you first need to update all the links or URLs stored in the database and this can be done by using the better search and replace plugin.

    Follow these steps:
    1. backup your database
    2. deactivate Media Library Folders
    3. Install and activate better search and replace
    4. Go the the Better search and replace page under Tools in the dashboard menu
    5. enter the old URL of the site and the new URL of the site. Do not enter the ‘https://’ or ‘https://’ part of the URLs. Also check the option to modify ‘guids’ and uncheck the dry run option and run the search and replace.
    6. check to see that images are showing up correctly on your site.
    7. Activate the Media Library Folders Reset plugin and run the database reset.
    8. Deactivate Media Library Folders Reset and activate Media Library Folders and it will do a fresh scan of your media library.

Some one else reported a problem when they switched from http to https. Does this apply in your case?

for one of the problem : yes (thumbnails lost)
for the other (image not reflecting real server content)

If you changed from https:// to https:// then that would make your images not show up. This would be an issue with your media library from which Media Library Folders gets its information.
