Image titles problem

  • Hallo.
    I use lightbox plus for WP native gallery.
    I’ve already set “gallery link to file” in gallery preferences.

    The plugin works well for size, color, navigation, etc. but in the images appears only post title (?), number of image and total images.

    I’d like to make appear also the title of image.

    Can somebody help me to do this?

  • Hasn’t this been an issue for quite a while now? See this thread for a fix someone came up with (I believe I tried it and it worked).

    I just want to see if the author is going to (or has) implemented a fix like that, and even better, worked it into the settings so that the option could be enabled/disabled as desired.

    I’m having this same problem. The text shown above the images is the post name instead of the image title or image caption. This happens whether or not I select “Use WP Caption for LBP Caption”.

    In source code, when I disable Lightbox Plus Colorbox there is no “title” that appears on the hyperlink wrapping the image at all. there is a correct alt tag on the image though. When I enable Lightbox Plus Colorbox a title that is the same as the page name is added to the hyperlink that wraps each image in the gallery. So they all have the same title. The alt tag is still on the image itself, but this is not being used by the plugin.

    Agreed. link provided by KennyLL work! caption on photo in wp gallery is picked up by lightbox. thanks! no idea why this isn’t implemented into the plugin by now.
