image upload box failing (but in a new way)

    I suddenly have a problem with the image upload box, not similar to the other problems described here (or at least any I’ve read). Image uploads fine but sending it to the post textarea fails every time with the image upload box remaining on screen (not disappearing as it should) but without the form which vanishes.

    My install of wordpress was hacked about two months ago with an sql inject via a comment but no obvious bad comment this time and I’ve uploaded the contents of wp-admin and wp-includes again but this didn’t seem to help. Has this happened to anyone out there? Any clues as to what might be going wrong here?

    Bump and update.

    Firebug for Firefox tells me that:
    “win.edInsertContent is not a function”

    I can see calls to this function in media-upload.js (line 11) and upload.js (line 309) and edInsertContent is a function in quicktags.js (line 340) so I’m guessing the problem is with the win part.

    I’m a bit rubbish with Javascript so if anyone can spot what might be going wrong here I’d appreciate a clue.
