Uploading a TIFF image to a post — I get this:

Warning: imageantialias(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 44

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/wp-admin/includes/image.php:44) in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 391

I switched back to the WP default theme — no improvement. I deactivated my many plugins — no improvement. Uploading images worked before, but I’ve been trying many themes in the interim.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

  • Is the image showing up though? I seem to remember that php has issues with tiff files.

Ahh, thanks theapparatus, I changed it to a JPEG using Graphic Converter and it worked fine. The only reason I was messing with a TIFF in the first place was I used the MacOS GRAB utility to snip a bit of screen.

    All better now.
