    Hi everyone,

Wonder if anyone can help. I have installed a multisite network for my school, students are now proud owners of their own subdomain blog. It’s working great so far, however I have one very strange error.

Students are having problems uploading images using the flash uploader, the uploads will just hang, the process bar will run across but the image will never upload. It just sits there and hangs. Sometimes you can get the image to upload via the browser uploader, but you have to do it once or twice.

This is using IE10 or IE11 – school are reluctant to install any other browsers, so before browser hate, could anyone suggest a solution?

Now, the odd issue. This seems to only be a problem on the school network, if I used IE11 at home away from work, it works with no problems (I use my school laptop to try this, on school network does not work, when I take laptop home, it works, so exactly the same build of IE11!). Does anyone have any suggestions to what this could be?

    Install is WordPress 4.0.

    Thanks!

Are you trying to upload multiple files at one time, or only single files?

Have the images you’re trying to upload been optimized for the web – are they under 1 MB in size?

School systems often have security features in place to “protect” the students. Any chance that your school network might be configured to block image files being transferred?
