Image Upload Issue in 5.1.6

I’m having the same problem. Can anyone teach me how to roll back to 2.1.5 without losing my categories?

1) Download a copy of 2.1.5 from here: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/enhanced-media-library.2.1.5.zip (you get to this by following the ‘developers’ tab on a plugin’s www.ads-software.com page).

2) Login via FTP

3) Navigate to /wp-content/plugins/

4) Delete the ‘enhanced-media-library’ folder

5) Extract the zip downloaded in step 1, stick your new ‘enhanced-media-library’ folder inside /plugins

And that’s it! All your categories and the references to what images are in what category are all stored in the database, so you’re not going to break anything by deactivating/deleting the plugin. That’s the theory anyway, never hurts to back up before doing this stuff though..

@amandomino – you can also delete the plugin from the Plugins admin page and upload ZIP with v2.1.5 with Add New > Upload Plugin on the same Plugins admin page. Or simply wait a bit, the fix will be available soon. We just need to test upload better to avoid new issues.

Ive had the same trouble. Enhanced Media Library 2.1.6 I cant upload any photos…..Thanks Simon! Tomorrow I’ll delete the latest plugin, n upload 2.1.5 in the plugins section.

Thank you very much for verification!

There is still an issue (unstable behavior) with uploading media items for alphabetical order, but I hope no one finds it until it’s fixed ?? The upload itself works any way.

2.1.7 is just launched. The unstable behavior for upload with orderby set to “Title” is not an issue anymore.
