    Hi,
    another question: image upload doesn’t work anymore since I upgraded to WP 2.7.1 + NextGen 1.3.x.
    I’m currently on WP 2.8 + NextGen 1.3.3. Does anyone know if there is a connex between the new NextGen Plugin and the image upload.
    I already tried deactivating the plug in, also other file attributes on the server (even 777 for wp-content and all files below). The message still keeps coming after the upload:
    “Das Verzeichnis /wp-content/uploads/2009/06 konnte nicht erstellt werden. Ist das darüberliegende Verzeichnis für den Webserver schreibbar?”
    In English must sound like:
    “Could not establish the xxxxxx directory. Make sure the directory above is writeable”

    Well, this problem is solved. I had to change the following under “settings – miscellanous”:

    /wp-content/uploads – NO leading slash!

    correct is:
    wp-content/uploads

    Always double or triple check, even if you are sure, that you didn’t change or overwrite anything there!
