    Hi

I have succesfully used your plugin for my gallery page and it worked fine. Now i′ve made some security updates to the WP and plugins.

    I updated some plugins:
    – Gallery
    – WordFence

    Installed:
    – Patch for Revolution slider (parses the slider)

    Updated WordPress to 4.1

Gallery plugin does not upload images anymore and says:

    Failed
    undefinedxundefined

What can i do to fix this issue?

    BR Katri

    Hi katruskan,

Since the custom uploader’s functionality posts files not to the Uploads
folder, but to the Plugin folder, and moves them to the Uploads folder
afterwards, you should set 755 permissions to the folders wp-content, plugins, gallery-plugin, upload, files, as well as uploads, 2015, 01. In such a case the plugin’s script will have enough permissions to upload images. Here is some useful information for you https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_Permissions#Shared_Hosting_with_suexec .You
can use standard uploader on the same page of the gallery editing and
the uploaded images will appear in the block under the custom uploader.

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.

I′ve checked all the permissions, and they were set to 755. Since the fault was not in anything you mentioned, i figured out it could be a new plugin “Patch for Revolution slider” (parses the slider) i′ve installed. I disabled it and after that your gallery plugin worked fine.

I just have to find a new way to fix the Revolution Slider vulnerability.

So Gallery problem solved, thank you.
