    Is it possible to limit the image upload size in User Submitted Posts?

    That is a pro feature. The free version provides settings for max/min width and height only.

    USP uses WP’s built-in functionality, so here is what happens when an image is submitted via the form:

    – The original (full) size image is added to the WP Media Library
    – A custom field containing the URL of the original/full image is attached to the submitted post as a custom field
    – WP generates all the extra sizes it normally creates (like thumbnail, medium, et al), based on the current Media settings for the site

    One more question, is it possible to display the add image button to guest post?

    WordPress RTE/Visual editor displays the Add Media button only when the current user is logged into WP with sufficient capabilities (e.g., Editor, Admin). Here is a post with more infos (note that the post is aimed at Pro users but the same basic info applies in general):
