Image upload through Paid Memberships Pro not working

    Hi,
    we are using your plugin which seems to not to work with the plugins Paid Memberships Pro and their extension Register Helper Fields.
    We have created some custom fields for image upload there, which is not uploaded to the default Media Archive folder – but to a custom folder.
    How can we add support for those uploads in order to get rid of the wrong image rotation there as well?

    Since WordPress version 5.3, this plugin’s functionality is in core WordPress, and you don’t even need to install this plugin ??

    It appears that core only fixes images uploaded using the media library. I’m having the same issue with ClassiPress where images are uploaded in the front end.

    This plugin used to work great for us until WP 5.3. Is there something in 5.3 core that turns off this plugin?

    @dleeward I haven’t tested this plugin with 5.3, but if what you’re saying is true, then this plugin still holds value and I’ll keep maintaining it.

    How long do you think it might be before you can test in 5.3? I’d be glad to help.

    I’ll be testing it out tomorrow as currently working on another project, if you do come up with something, you can send a pull request on GitHub, project is open source, will add you as contributor.

    @dleeward Apparently, the plugin is working fine with WordPress 5.3, but haven’t tested it out with ClassiPress, its a paid theme, and here on www.ads-software.com, we’re supporting only open source plugins/themes. Let me know if you find out anything in that theme thats breaking, or need my help with getting this plugin to work with that theme.

    This plugin was working great until WP 5.3 came out. Now we have a large amount of images that have the incorrect orientation. I also tested the most recent version of Classipress on WP 5.5.x and it had the same issues. I’d love some help getting it fixed, but not sure how to proceed.

    This plugin used to work for me and I am most grateful to you for making taking the time to help others by developing this plugin in the first place.

    My issue is that I want to load images to my website’s dynamic activity page directly and not one picture will load the correct way. If I take the photo from a direct shot or from my phone’s albums each one is going into the triangle of rotation death.

    It’s a shame that when it was implemented into WP that it never really worked in a total capacity.

    If you ever get the chance to make this work I would gladly donate to the cause.
