image uploader in 2.6

  • Hi,
    I’ve upgraded a blog from version 1.5.1 to 2.6
    I did the upgrade using multiple upgrade steps through 1.5.2 1.5.3 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.5 up to 2.6

    After some theme and plugin upgrades I have the following problem:
    When trying to upload an images I get the flash screen with the following text:
    Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.

    further more, currently it seems like all my images are located in wp-content folder.
    any advice will be appreciated.
