When inserting images into cells of a table that is being placed in a custom field (using ACF) only, the image urls with subdomains are being changed to urls with the full domain, and thus broken images. I can’t tell if it is the fields or the plugin, though if I put in an image link directly into the ACF field using tag without the table, there is no problem.

Example, using either the Insert Image button, or by hand, I insert an image into the table cell and the correct HTML with URL is:

    DNEG | Film VFX Showreel

After saving the table and using the table short code, the url in the table cell is changed to this:

    DNEG | Film VFX Showreel

It is pretty bizarre because that doesn’t happen if put the tag html directly into the field, nor does it happen if I put the table short code into the post’s main content field.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This is definitely not caused by TablePress, as it does not manipulate the content of your tables in any way. Also, it doesn’t even know about those subdomains, so that it’s definitely not replacing anything there. I’m afraid that this must be caused by other plugins or your theme on your site.

    Regards,
    Tobias
