Image URL filter not applied in News Sitemap

The wpseo_sitemap_urlimages filter that is available for other sitemaps created by the WordPress SEO is not applied on the google news sitemap

I added the following line

$images = apply_filters( 'wpseo_sitemap_urlimages', $images, $item->ID );

before line 169 in xml-news-sitemap-class.php and now it works fine.
