Image versions & internal widget links

  • I could use help with two items involving images and widgets:

    —I want to have two versions of an image available, with different picture sizes and different captions. How do I maintain the original image version when I create another version with a smaller picture and a shorter caption? I want to be able to experiment with using the smaller version in an image widget, but I don’t want to lose the original in case I am unhappy with the change.

    —how can I create a link from an image within a sidebar widget to another page on my website? I want a picture and caption in the widget to be “clickable,” connecting to a page with more information. But I don’t see any way to add the URL link.

    Help from smarter minds and more experienced hands would be welcome!
