    Sorry just to be clear, I can see the little gallery part underneath the page/post editor, but selecting ‘imageflow’ from it doesn’t change anything.

    Hi Kirstie,
    most likely, you have got a jQuery conflict, that is a version problem between your template’s software and the software included with Simplest Gallery.

    This is a little explained here:
    https://www.simplestgallery.com/support/

    In most cases, these problems can be fixed. Now, to help you diagnose and solve the problem I’d need the link of a page where you have inserted the imageflow gallery.

    Hi Cleoni,

    I checked by using a few different themes to see if it was my theme (I used the WordPress basics, twentyfifteen and twentyfourteen and it still just showed up as a plain old gallery) and I’ve tried switching the jquery setting in the settings of the plugin, but it doesn’t seem to change the output.

    I tried using a HTML validator, but I couldn’t see anything that was obviously the fault (be warned though, total n00b at this so could quite easily have missed something)

    https://books.storybookperfect.com/short-stories/ is the page I’m trying on.

    Thanks heaps for your help

    Hello,
    I have checked out your page and I see the gallery is rendered in a proprietary way.

    Look at the source code (Ctrl-U or View Source) and search for the gallery: you will see there are some

    class="no-lightbox"

    attributes there which prevent the gallery from working as you expect, but they are not inserted by Simplest Gallery.

    It’s likely that your theme takes precedence and renders galleries this way, instead of letting Simplest Gallery to manage them.

    However, I have released a new version today so try updating, the method for parsing shortcodes have been updated and may now work in your theme.
