Use of ImageMagick Engine possible?

    Hello,

    first of all thanks for the great plug-in. I really like how it has developed over the past months, both in function and design!

    Problem: I am using the plug-in “ImageMagick Engine” www.ads-software.com/plugins/imagemagick-engine/ to generate my thumbnails, because that way all EXIF data like copyright etc. from the original image is preserved in the thumbnails (which I am sure is important for many people) and also I have more control about compression for different sizes.

    Your plug-in seems to override the WP behaviour set by the above plug-in and reverts back to GDlib. Is there any way that you could include support for ImageMagick?

    Hi Pat,
    glad you like the changes – it was about time to refresh it.

    About your problem: i only uses the default wordpress functions. So wordpress chooses the correct image-engine. Also, there where no change in the way how i use the wordpress-functions since a year or longer.

    Did you test with the quick-check tool on the plugins settings screen? It will output what library is used by the plugin.
