• The ImageManager plugin integrates the stand alone PHP ImageManager + Editor with WordPress.
No edits to the WordPress source is required.
Just extract the ImageManager.zip into your WordPress plugins directory, follow the instructions in the configuration tool (accessible from the Plugins page) and then Activate it.
The plugin replaces the img quicktag, so .. to use it, click on the img quicktag.
BTW, bugs in the plugin I can fix, but bugs in PHP ImageManager + Editor you have to report at https://www.zhuo.org/htmlarea/
This is my first WordPress plugin, so please be nice ??

    Hi,

I’ve installed the plugin and it seems to work very well (impressive, intuitive GUI) – untill I tested it as a “Contributor”: I could actually delete pictures. I’ve switched on and of the role manager and set and unset the “can upload file” and “can create directory” options. Nothing helps. ??

Is this a bug? Or did I unwillingly change something which created this situation? I’m using the latest version.

    Thanks!

    Super plugin, thanks!

I seem to get 404 errors when I try to upload.. any ideas why?

PerS, I’m wondering if you’d be willing to tweak your plugin so that it also worked on WPMU sites? That would mean much wider use of this excellent plugin.

But I think among the necessary tweaks would be limiting the configuration options to only the site admins. Any ideas as to how to approach this?

I can’t seem to have ImageManager button in WYSIWYG editor.

I have another installation and it works with the same plugins.

Do you have any idea what the problem would be?
