• Hi,

First of, yes, I’ve read this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/164999?replies=1

    and this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/409988?replies=2
and tons of other threads and blogs about his issue. I think I’ve exhausted all the solutions out there.

    Or have I??????

My problem: When I try to upload an image(s) using the flash loader it usually (~95% of the time) gives me the “HTTP ERROR”, doesn’t finish “crunching”, and my image file(s) is listed as 0x0pixels…which obviously won’t format correctly, although the image(s) do show up in the post.

I have tried fixing this by:
    – complete new download/unzip/reinstall of WordPress
    – removing all Plugins
    – reinstalling latest version of Flash
    – Using Firefox, Chrome, and IE (clearing caches each time)
    – Reverting to Default theme (from a GraphPaperPress theme)
    – adding “<IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off
    </IfModule> to the .htaccess file
    – setting access to that file to ‘777’
    – Various settings for permalinks
    – Uploading different size images (physical pixelxpixel size AND megabyte storage size). No difference.
    – Uploading one at a time or multiple images at once

what am I missing? Why can’t I upload images?

For the record, I need to use the flash uploader eventually, because I need to upload hundreds of images. One at a time will not cut it.

thanks for your time and help.

    so…..still no resolution.

Since I last posted I have tried to completely reinstall WordPress twice, including wiping my MySQL database, and creating a new one. No joy.

So, I resigned myself to not using the Flash based uploader and having to upload all 300+ images with the Browser uploader, but amazingly SAME PROBLEM! Images upload but come in as 0x0pixels and are unable to format to a post.

why can’t I upload an image? any image. please?
