    Hi Tobias

I have just downloaded the plugin (15.1) and when I add a table and text all good but when I try add a image and I go to the Media area and click on the image and add to the table, nothing happens – it takes me back to the table set up page and nothing is in the cell I tried to add it too?? Tried everything I can think of but will not let me add an image at all? No errors come up either…Only Plugins I have installed is yours and W3 Total Cache – FYI….Can you help please??

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This indicates that something is inserting scripts into the “Edit” screen that break something.

Can you please try again after temporarily deactivating all plugins except TablePress, and after switching to the WordPress default theme TwentyFourteen? That way we can rule out any interference.
Also, are you using TablePress 1.5.1?

    Regards,
    Tobias

I have the same problem since the last update.

    Tobias,
I deactivated the plugins one by one. The one that conflicted is WP Editor.

    Hi,

nice find! That indeed sounds like a plugin that could be causing this. It says that is replaces the regular WordPress posts/pages editor, and with that it likely changes the integration of the media library into that editor.
And as TablePress uses the same functions as the WP posts/pages editor (in the “Advanced Editor” popup), it’s also influences by this.
My recommendation therefore is to deactivate that WP Editor plugin whenever you want to insert images in a TablePress table (or to insert the images by directly putting in the HTML code).

    Regards,
    Tobias
