Images and Featured Image

Use the <img> Tag to insert images in the content section.

There are several plugins that can automatically set a featuring image from the post content – search www.ads-software.com for “featured image plugin”.

I’m currently using the <img> tag for my images now and that works great but I need to somehow have that set as the featured image. I have looked for a plugin that will pull the image from the content but I cannot find one that will do that. If you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks.

It could be a nice feature for Post via Dropbox. Uploading the featured image alongside the text file and let the plugin grabs them automatically.

@paolobe So, are you working on such an image feature? When can we expect the update?

Also, I am using Auto Thumbnail Pro (https://codecanyon.net/item/auto-post-thumbnail-pro/4322624), but it doesn’t work when I use the Manual Check option on your plugin and haven’t been able to find out why that is happening.

When I use Manual Check, the posts get published, but the featured image doesn’t get set by that plugin. I am forced to open the post on my WordPress admin account and click the Remove featured image button and save it again to get Auto Thumbnail Pro grab the image again from the first image link in the post.

The Manual Check option causes many more issues. Plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pushbullet-notification/ doesn’t work when Manual Check is used. Please look into this.

With a bit of luck and time, I hope to send out a new version by September, but I can’t make promises.

Unfortunately, I have no time to make it compliant with another plugins. Too many variables involved and most of them could be not related to my plugin. But.. I’ll try to take a look if it’s a simple issue.
