    Hey Customizers

I’m happy to be playing with this plugin again. However, my mail are not displaying well. Looks fine in Customizer like so

And then when sent out like so without logo, icons and some shortcode sneaking into the topbar…

I was now playing around in the customizer and see this ReCaptcha thing doing something. Is this a conflict?

I have no idea where to lokate this error, so all help is appreciated. Thx

    Hello @hebhansen,

You mentioned the email looks fine in the Customizer, but when received, it is missing the log, icons, and there is an inserted shortcode. Also, the image with the ReCaptcha looks like there is just a large “X” in the content. Unfortunately, I’m unsure what that is.

Please follow the steps in Kadence’s troubleshooting article, including clearing your cache and checking for plugin conflicts. Can you see if the problems occur if only WooCommerce and the Kadence email designer are enabled to see if the problem persists?

Troubleshooting plugin is not really behaving right now. Let me get back to you asap. Do you know of a conflict with block themes? I am on TT4. Also I am on a local install. Mail fly through though using WP SMTP plugin.

    Hello @hebhansen,

I don’t find any reported issues that show the email designer conflicts with block themes. Generally, a situation like you’ve described is often due to conflicts with other plugins that interact with the WooCommerce emails. Are you using any plugins that interact with WooComemerce?

    Yes, I am using quite a few…

As mentioned I see this huge X inside customiser. I have seen this before and it may show backend in certain plugins, when ReCaptcha V3 is triggered by that plugin. So I had some suspicion towards compatibility here.

My ReCaptcha is managed within WP Forms, so I turned of WP Forms entirely. Test mail is still not coming out right. No icons and no logo.

I activated WP Forms and played with ReCaptcha V3 Tolerance. Set to 1 it trusts anyone. Even Trump, which speaks for itself. Test mail still not working. so in general I do not think ReCaptcha is the culprit.

Another idea is WP SMTP plugin. It’s setup and sending mail, but warning that DKIM integration and another one with Google is not setup correct. As I understand, these are more to avoid ending in SPAM and somehow clear the full mail, and not discriminate graphics. But mmaybe I am wrong.

I am surprised to be the only one to ever experience this though. So maybe I need to do the long walk of turning on and off plugins one by one.

I was reading through this and I thought maybe the image links break, since I am on a local install on my computer. Could that be? And they will work, once online?

    Hello @hebhansen,

Generally, if an image can’t be accessed due to a broken link, the image will appear broken. You may also see a 404 error in the console log. However, I don’t expect an inaccessible image to cause breaks in the plugin. Did you have a chance to check if there were plugin conflicts when only WooCommerce and the email designer are enabled in troubleshooting mode?

    Hey Gilbert

I have migrated to a public web server and images and icons now display fine in emails. I guess it makes a lot of sense, thinking of it. I mark as solved, and sorry for the time. It may help other on a local install though.

Happy New year and see you around
