images and photos

I am having problems trying to find the easiest way to add a photo/image to my blog and giving the proper “attribute” required by the site where I get the photo (Flikr) that gives the author credit. There is an html link that I am supposed to use – but I don’t know where, exactly, to put it. Can anyone give me a basic step-by-step? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
