• The images I continually see every few days are being pulled from another website/podcast that a client appeared on. I delete them and new ones appear after a few hours or days. I thought perhaps some kind of RSS accidentally added is pulling it but I really am not sure how something could make this happen. I am stumped and cannot figure out what to do. It isn’t affecting the site or dangerous in any way, just annoying and needs to be removed. Has anyone dealt with anything similar?

  • This is certainly not core behavior. It’s almost certain that your theme – or more likely a plugin – is doing this for you. Unfortunately that’s going to make it difficult for a stranger to debug for you, and you’re not going to like the debugging steps because they’ll likely render your site un-usable until you get things sorted out, especially given that you may need to wait a while to see if things behave differently.

Disable all plugins and see if the problem persists (I’d be shocked if it did).
Re-enable plugins back 1 by 1 until the problem returns.

Alternatively, look at the plugins your site is using and see which one(s) you think are most likely to be doing this. Then you can check if they have settings pages or read about them for more information.

Thanks, Jason. It turned out to be a plugin I had forgotten about that was causing the issue. Turned it off and all is good. Sometimes, I just feel dumb lol I appreciate the help.
