I have a big problem, the images are not shown – not in the gallery and not in the media overview of wordpress administration. There are the titles but no images are presented (no preview) in the administration interface. There is just a gray images. The images are on the webserver. They are not deleted, but they are not shown. This is the first time I see this. Perhaps it depends on the Update to wordpress 3.8? How can this be changed?

Only the images witch are used in the gallery are gray in the media overview of wordpress administration (not available there). Other images are shown normally.

If I want to add a new gallery and click “save” I get an error:

If I download all files from the server and I add an actual version of the data base the gallery is shown. What could be a reason for this?

It was a problem of rights management. After the update, the rights were changed. Now I changed back to 777 and all is fine now:)
