    Hello.
    Thanks for the great plugin.
    Two days ago, the photos stopped making the news. There is no CDN.
    There are pictures in the feed and everything is unchanged.
    I would be grateful for any hints.

  • Hi all,

    I know Google News Support is providing some conflicting information, but the plugin is actually providing the correct structure and is working as intended.

    This is an issue on Google’s end. I’ve been in touch with them through my contact there and they are aware of it and investigating.

    The problem is happening across the board, not just to users of GN Publisher. Others who aren’t using WordPress and have developed their own feeds are experiencing the exact same thing.

    I’ll update this thread as I get more information,

    Some major news sites lack news images. Now hopefully google will fix it faster ??

    Thank you to everyone that reported this issue!

    Google finally identified the bug (on their end) and has fixed it.

    When you publish new posts, Google News should now include the featured image.

    I don’t think they are going to go back and add images that were missed while the bug was in effect though…
