    Hello,

i am having problems that i cannot find images that i uploaded with PhotoGalery Plugin as in the usual place = mediathek.

This is a drag as you have to upload images twice – thus eating up space on server and bandwith on the page as it has to load images from 2 different spots.

Why is it so?? Aint there a better way to program PhotoGalery to use the “normal” paths inside the mediathek? Just organizing it in sub-folders.

The plugin is easy to use and seems programmed halfway solid, s i am wondering why these horseshoes appear when using it.

Is there any workaround to avoid this?

    Best, Chrys

    Hi,

Please note that after uploading the images, they are being created in the three folders

    wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery– images with modified  dimensions,

    wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/.original– the original image and

    wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery/thumb– images with Thumbnail dimensions.

There is also a separate folder for images uploaded from the Media Library in the Uploads folder. It works same as it is in the above described.

Unfortunately, there is no option to change this.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you! Have a nice day!
