Images are not scaled down

you need to have ‘featured image’ set for each post wp-admin->write post, if not, the feat image will grab your first image in post which is larger in size and dimension than your default crop thumbnail image.

in my post Ford Fiesta face lift, the picture of yellow ford is set as featured image and also it is last photo in the post (since, it is featured image, therefore it appear on front page of website).

but it is not be scaled down for front page, it is just been resized,

seem like it had to do with the jetpack plugin, filtering the_post_thumbnail(), is there any setting in jetpack that involve media or image settings, try disable it.

Surely the error is due to Jetpack, disabling even jetpack connection from WordPress solves the problem.
Therefore I decided to disable the Jetpack Modules one-by-one, but did not found the defaulter.
Can you find the defaulter module and provide some fix to over come this thing.
Since Jetpack provides so many things that It is very hard to disable it.

It may be that problem is not with module, it may be with full jetpack service, (don’t know, if it’s problem is with full jetpack installation then how just disconnection start the scaling down the image.)

The culprit is photon CDN of WordPress.

New thing-
Feature image scale down has been applied to many featured image, but not to all.
For e.g. this post yamaha fz have blue colour bike photo as featured image but it is been not served as scaled down.

And also post featured image are served in 300x300px on front page, but I have set thumbnail size as 200x200px

When I insert an image into a post, no matter what the size in the post, on the home page it adjusts to the column width. Can you tell me how to adjust it so the image is not distorted?
