Images are partially linked

When i create new pages and posts, i upload the images and actually link them..however when i go to the published page, the images are partially linked..ie some parts of the image are linked and the others are not..mostly the upper parts are the ones linked.
Can someone help me out on this? Iam using Firefox and Chrome.
