    Hello,

    I have installed your plugin, and I have runed 2 times the process of auto update the title and alt title. But for some reason, I can still see images that do not have these attributes filled, on the media library. No errors occurred during the bulk update. Only a 502 error that I saw it on time and refreshed the page to run the process again.

    The images are jpg and png. No error on the server logs also.

    Can you inform me why this is happening, and how to debug it further?

    Best Regards

    Hello @stevendigital, My name is Arun.

    Sorry about the late reply, I missed the email notification and saw this only while browsing the forum today.

    How many images (approximately) do you think are not updated? It’s strange that the bulk updater would work on some images and not on the rest. Haven’t seen this happen before to be honest.

    Looking forward to your feedback. Sorry if you have already moved on to a different solution, but if that’s not the case let’s continue from here on.

    Hello, @arunbasillal

    I think they might be around 100. I also can not find a pattern to narrow it down.
    Hope you can assist me with that.

    I will wait for your feedback on that.

    Thanks for the feedback. It’s strange indeed, 100 is not a small number. Hmm.

    When you run the bulk updater are these images being shown as updated by any chance?

    @arunbasillal

    Yes. They pass the counter and appear as updated for some reason.

    I don’t know if the theme has anything to do with that.

    If some elements (like carousel or sliders) might intervene with the process and give a false response that the image is processed correctly.

    Hello again,

    It’s very unlikely that the the theme or slider plugins would intervene. If they did, it would have done on all images, not just a few.

    Is there object caching active on the website? (Sorry if I am stating the obvious, object caching isn’t the same as page caching.)

    If yes, can you please disable object caching temporarily and give it a try please?

    Currently, I only use Nginx caching on the server side. Can this be related to somehow object caching? As far as I know, object caching is referred to as caching of DB queries but I am not aware if NGINX caching has this implemented.

    If this is the case, I will try what you suggest.

    Hello @stevendigital

    Sorry for the late reply. You are right about object caching.

    > I am not aware if NGINX caching has this implemented.

    I don’t think so, but I am not 100% sure. It’s very unlikely though.

    This might be obvious, but it’s important to ask. Are the 100 items in media library images for sure? Media library also lists PDF’s and such and these are skipped since they are not images. Can you please check?

    @arunbasillal

    Yes, they are all images with a .jpg and .png extension on the end.

    Also checked most of them to be sure that they are images. So I can confirm that they are images.

    I don’t know if any timeouts occur that somehow prevent or cut the process.

    Hello @stevendigital

    Time outs can occur but it shouldn’t create a gap of 100 or so images. It’s strange. I am encountering this for the first time and honestly I don’t have any ideas as of now.

    I will keep this thread open and the issue on my mind and see if anyone else comes up with it or if I can find a way to replicate it. It should be interesting to figure out why.
