Images are uploading but are blank

Hi there,

I am currently having some issues with uploading images to my freshly updated wordpress site. I recently had to start my blog a fresh so currently nothing remains apart from a theme being chosen.

I have uploaded images to plenty of blogs in the past but never had this problem.

This is what happens:

I uploads my files, correct size, jpeg or png via media file or other media upload button.
File says it is uploaded, however no image appears.
When I visit my site, image is not there.

I have tested this with a few different images, files types and sizes but still nothing.

I am working on 3.7.1.

Can anyone help?
