Images aren’t showing on my blog feed

My blog hosts at least 3-7 images per post. Problem is they will not show at the preview of each post on the blog’s homepage. The first theme I used was Hemila then changed to several others and I still had the same problems with my homepage feed.
Is there an appropriate theme to fix this this or are there settings I must configure in my wordpress? I am using wordpress through my hosting provider IONOS.
