Images as links in 2.0 to outside

Hi,

I’m totaly new to this blog thing.

But have a question. I make a blog with two pictures with an outside link.

When this picture is from within my site i can’t get this link to setup a new page.

If this linkpicture is called from an other site (the picture it self) i can get a new page to popup.

Why is that and no i can’t punt a target=_blank in the html line because when i save it gets lost.
