I am having a very hard time getting the sidebar widgets in TwentyTen to use images as headers. I have the text titles turned off and I’ve tried every possible combination of css I can think of, but there are so many classes and IDs and lis and uls combined for those sidebar widgets, I just can’t get it right.

    Here’s the site:

right now I just have plugged them in via text widgets, but the placement is awful. I have done this countless times with other themes, but I just can’t figure this one out.

Thanks for any help you can give. I sure don’t want to have to scratch this whole theme and start over just because of those little tags…

If you install Firefox Firebug then when you visit your website you can immediately see the css styling plus line numbers for ONLY the element you hover over

I can see them in Firebug, as I could with the CSS developer plugin that I use, but I still can’t figure out how exactly to code the CSS to apply the style I want to those boxes. I just want to add an image as the background image in the sidebox and put some padding at the top so that the widget contents slide down to accommodate it. I’ve done it many times with other themes, but this one has multiple classes and then it has a li id and I just can’t figure out how to write it…

I figured out what the problem was. I was putting my code before the last bracket in that CSS, instead of after it. Oops.

Okay, happy to do that. I haven’t started many threads here so I didn’t know how that part worked. Thanks, again!
